Guten Tag! I am back in my humble, Heidelberg abode and blissfully reminiscing on my weekend get-away. This past weekend, I traveled to Triberg, Germany – home of the Black Forest, Black Forest Cake, and Black Forest Ham. Also, home to the largest (well, largest to me) waterfall in Germany.

Well, Triberg was absolutely STUNNING. I fell in love with all of the snow and the quaint, little town it was. The waterfall was so beautiful, and while everything else was frozen (here I go singing Let It Go again) the waterfall still rained on down the mountain side.
The other beauty of Triberg was the Black Forest Cake…I went to Cafe Schaefer and had the original Black Forest Cake and it was PHENOMNOM.

There’s no complaining here! Next weekend, I will be packing up my Kendra’s and headed to Venice, Italy for Carnival!

Side note: there are also 9 million cuckoo clocks that are HYSTERICAL in Triberg, so naturally I had to purchase one…or two…I can’t remember.

Follow me there through here (on my website), Instagram, and Twitter!
