Labor Day weekend was so relaxing – I went to Bethesda, I lounged by the pool, I changed the formatting and style of this website (if you haven’t noticed), and I went to a Nationals Game.
It was the best.
The Nationals had a strong lead throughout the game and took home a victory for us, so that made the celebration all that much better. I love a good game of baseball and nothing says no labor quite like drinking beers, eating hot dogs with mustard on them, and looking out for fly balls.
I will always be a Red Sox gal and my brothers will always be my favorite players, but getting to rep my new city and sing take me out to the ball game at the top of my lungs was thrilling and fun.
So, as I trek back up The Hill and Congress is back in session, I hold on tight to how laid back I felt. As I finally move into my new apartment and forget my belongings at my sweet friend, Syd’s house, I remember how much fun I’ve had with her the past few weeks.
And with that, I am off to Baltimore on Friday, and while I wish it revolved around the Orioles, we’ll have to save that for another time. See you when I’m fresh of the boat of a Baltimore Lunch Cruise.
Hannah was a guest of The Nationals Park. As always, my opinions are my own.
