It’s always so fun to have my sassy, Southern sister-friend in town for a weekend. You know, even if you lose water for an entire day and have a baby’s birthday party to go to. Luckily, Heidi is quite the trooper and ran around with me from the Library of Congress to Anthropologie – where I’m just so lucky that she’s a stylist.

I am obsessed with interactive art and murals, and I’ve  been waiting for the perfect moment to go to this Watermelon House. We walked in the bitter cold (yes, we ubered back) and found the wall, laughed about it, and snagged some great Instagram moments.

More importantly, we got to catch up and make some sister mems – which was the best ever because the last time we were together in the District, I was running around like a maniac to move in…I still can’t believe that was 4 months ago.

Heidi’s one in a melon and her presence is a present. There’s no one else I’d match watermelon walls with!
