I know I took a vow when I started this site that I would never release my political affiliation. But I’ve thought it through and here it is…

Republican Party
Democratic Party

Brunch Party

There is a clear winner here that doesn’t need a recount. As I’m sure you all know by now, brunching is my religion and I respect its book of messages, aka the menu.

When presented the opportunity to Brunch at the Trump, hell, I just ran with it. Quite literally. In my seal-fur, vintage coat from my Grandmother and my ankle booties, I climbed the marble steps in the lobby to the promised land.

And then, I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu, because once you commit to being high-maintenance, you go all out. Momma didn’t raise a quitter.

Everything in my basket of brunch pastries was incredible. I have never had a scone that I liked until this day and it wasn’t dry or “bready.” It was perfect. The ham and cheese croissant? So good, you order two so that you have one for the next day! Trust.

And, the piece that makes me whisper je te veux, the champagne cart. I’ll never quit my champagne campaign and Trump International did not help this cause!

With the incredible management and the exhilarating environment, I can’t wait to return. It was the perfect start to my morning and you know what they say…brunch is the most important meal of the day. (Okay, maybe that’s just my mantra)

Until I’m out of my food coma…

Hannah was a guest of the Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C. As always, my opinions are my own. This post contains no political affiliation or endorsement.
