“The Parisienne thinks she’s a role model. She can fill blogs and books with life advice.”
I could tell you all about how Em and I met, an Art History class at Pepperdine, but also how she’s one of the most talented, Carrie Bradshaw-esque, friend that I’ve ever really had.
Also, talent – yes, this is Em on a freakin horse being super athletic and doing 15 rounds in one day! (I don’t know much about horses but I know that’s a lot.)
Anyway, my gifted friends have been filling up my life lately and it’s always just so inspiring. So when I heard that the real Queen B was performing at Coachella, I loaded up my car and drove down, video camera and DSLR in hand, and it was totally worth it.
I love seeing my friends be successful and do what makes them happy – it’s of the utmost importance. I’ve also become really grateful to have the friends who let you see them be happy. Was that confusing? It’s hard in such a pessimistic world to find joy in the little things. I’ve been so lucky to find joy in Coachella (even when it’s not Weekend 1 or 2); in horses and staring into their dreamy, honey eyes; and with really great friends that coincidentally sat next to me in Intro to Media Law. Haha.
Alright, enough of the cheesiness. I didn’t make it to Santa Barbara because of cancellations, but I did make it to Target which might be better. Anyway, see you soon as I just keep horsing around.
Hannah was a guest of HITS Thermal. As always, all opinions are my own.
