This isn’t a brunch post or a travel adventure, which I know, is completely out of bounds for me.
But, ’tis the season because it’s the most wonderful time of the year! My friends are so over hearing me gush about baseball and my social media has been taken over by all things pitchers and catchers. That being said, I had to bring it here.
Every positive moment in my life has revolved around baseball – the only time I enjoyed high school was when I was managing my team, working with the Dodgers gave me some of my greatest friends, and my spring breaks have always revolved at the only base I can truly call home.
When approached by Pepperdine Athletics Communications to work with the baseball team, I literally jumped at the opportunity. And since then, I’ve been caught outside (getting slightly burnt) and really enjoying Malibu.
The guys are some of my favorite people who let me encroach on their lives and write about them whether it’s economics or profiles, and keep me company when no one else understands that baseball season dictates all of your free weekends.
Also, super grateful to have a cleat-chasin, super supportive gal pal of mine who literally sits in the sun and comes to every game with me. That being said, you’re favorite dynamic duo is off to Fresno today to watch our team play a double-header. With road trips, lots to catch up on, and games to play…I can’t wait to share my baseball survival kit with you soon. Until then, roll on you…
