“There is nothing in nature that blooms all year long. So don’t expect yourself to do so either.”
Blooms are a major source of happiness for me and finally being able to go to the Los Angeles Flower Market was one of the most exhilarating days I’ve had.
Granted, the market doesn’t appear to be in the best part of town, but the vendors are incredibly nice and the flowers make you feel like you have transported into every Pinterest gal’s dream.
Of course, I went straight for the hydrangeas and scooped up two bushels to bring home. Covered in newspaper and with a pep in my step, I knew my bedroom was going to get a lot more beautiful and homely. It was the best way to spend a lazy Wednesday and it really made me incredibly glad that I get to live next to a city that has so many adventures to be found.
I hope everyone’s day is filled with blush-toned (my aesthetic) florals and sweet, Jesus time on this beautiful Easter. As for me, I plan to spend the day with family and friends, rejoicing in the day that the Lord has made, and looking forward to my birthday tomorrow!
Until then, keep blooming sweet buds.
