You’ve seen her face in many posts – from Greece, to my birthday, and throughout the hills of Heidelberg to the Hill of DC. But, you’ve never seen Margs and I together in Malibu…until now.
I decided it was time to stop wallowing in self-pity that I have to be an adult now, and to cherish the remaining moments I have left in my “college town” before they actually kick me out.
One of my favorite restaurants in Malibu is Malibu Seafood. It’s incredibly affordable (one of the few places that is in the Bu) and hey, they also offer a student discount!! Can I get a heck ya?!!
Malibu Seafood is perfect for all occasions – whether you’re arriving from a flight from San Francisco, needing a last-minute date night, reuniting with your best friends, or chowing down on fish tacos with Drake Bell. (I’m not kidding, it’s true). They have the best fish and chips, a delightful clam chowder, and my favorite part…drumroll…it’s b.y.o.b!! You read that right, although, I prefer to bring a nice white wine.
As I told my boyfriend, you go on a couple wine tastings and suddenly you’re an expert on what’s great to pair with fish. I recommend a Riesling, it’s my favorite.
So now, I’m working nine to wine, and getting really excited about my meal at NoBu this afternoon. Cheers!
Hannah was a guest of Malibu Seafood. As always, all opinions are my own.
