“Wear navy blue with black. And red with pink, a la Yves Saint Laurent.”
I’ve talked to you about Alfred Coffee, and now I am here to introduce you to its trendy little sis, Alfred Tea Room.
I’ve been following them on Instagram for the past year and have sent many dm’s and screen-grabs of their products to just about everyone I know.
This week has, for lack of a better word, sucked. But, I’m really trying to find some inner-motivation to keep going and praying for the best…even though it seems like a lost cause right now. But, let me tell you about my Yves Saint Laurent moment that I had.
I put on my favorite, and only, orange dress. The last time I broke it out was when I spent my last weekend in Paris. But, the mood felt very similar to me and I was going to be eating pastries a la Francophile.
I had the best breakfast and enjoyed the company as well. The best things that I can recommend would be The Alfred Pink Drink and Raspberry Rose Croissant. After you scarf down your delightful snack, you can walk down Melrose Avenue and admire one of my favorite streets in all of Los Angeles.
There are a ton of great shops and the infamous pink wall that every basic girlie pop loves to pose in front of. I will give you a heads up, because this has never happened to me before…Paul Smith (owner of the pink wall) has posted up a sign saying that you can only take iPhone photos in front of the wall. This to me is b.s. but if you go around the corner, you can take as many Nikon/Canon/Sony pictures that you want. It’s what I did.
So, color-me-pink, and enjoy your mid-week check-in.
Thank you to our sweet friends at Alfred Tea Room for having us. As always, all opinions are my own.
