“Someone call the dentist, because we’ve got a loose canine!”

I spent the last week(ish) in Texas and it was so good to be with my puppers! I truly believe he is sent from God himself – he’s an absolute delight!

I wanted to join the club of dog owners who throw birthdays for their pups, because lets face it, any excuse to throw a party is good enough for me!

I scoured the interweb to find the perfect recipe that my little chicken would like and I found the best option here.

I don’t typically bake but I rallied together for this one. And yes, the recipe said it only takes 30 minutes but it definitely took me an hour. Haha.

I baked the cake, put it on a platter, and then sang the birthday tune to my sweets! He’s usually a very hyper beagle, but he was so poised and proud for this moment, and I was so glad that I caught it all on video.

With everything going on in this season of my life, it’s important to celebrate the little things, no matter how ridiculous it looks.

So, with that, I’m back to planning out the renovation on my house and utilizing my HGTV skills (haha stay tuned for a before and after post in the next couple of months).
