“It’s beginning to look a lot like cocktails”

I LOVE sitting down, grabbing a pen and writing a good, old-fashioned letter. I frequently write my many friends around the world and always send a birthday card. To me, there’s nothing better than opening my mailbox to something other than bills and bank statements.

I’ve seen a lot my blogger inspirations and blogger friends share their Christmas card preparations, so I thought that I would too!

I always get my cards at Anthropologie! They’re always super fun and have just the right amount of color. I usually get the box sets so I can have beautiful birthday cards to send, but will occasionally grab a single card for a special event like a wedding.

Of course, when I walked in and saw they had the holiday box sets out, I knew I didn’t need to look any further. I was in love!

I love that I have the option to send a bright and cheery one to my gal pals, but also that there are more subdued ones for my Oma and Opa. I know it’s not entirely traditional to have four different kinds of cards, but I think that with the variety and a personal message in each one, it truly shows the thought and effort spent on each person.

Maybe one day I’ll venture into the realm of posed photos on a merry backdrop, but for now, I’m still keeping it full of youth and color!

A special shout-out to our friends at Anthropologie for having the cutest cards ever! As always, all opinions are my own.
