After the party, it’s the after party…and that for me is a stroll down to Shake Shack for a juicy burger and some golden-Yukon fries.

A big saving grace for me in D.C. when I was stressed or when Founding Farmers was completely booked up, was Shake Shack. Nestled in the train station and surrounded by blurred faces, I felt at ease among the chaos.

Moving to Florida hasn’t been easy, you are all aware of the toll it has taken on me. Haha. But with the help of Yelp (an unintentional rhyme) and a full tank of gas, dinner was in the shack, and it has never tasted so good!

This Shake Shack is nothing short of the cutest burger joint! It sits on the water in Winter Park and the trays clack along the picnic tables on the back balcony. It is picturesque and at an affordable price.

As I threw back a burger and romantically watched the sunset by myself, I readied myself for my brunch at the Four Seasons the following day and a trip to Cocoa Beach the following week. A dinner worth remembering, full of sweet memories and savory beef.
