What I’m Here For

401-Hey!: Am I the only one who thinks that I’m entirely too young to be attending retirement parties? And two in one week? Like, what the heck! My boss retired this past week and it was so wild to me that the next 30-something years are going to fly by so fast! Ugh, to dream and be there so soon. But, back to my officle for now…

Up-and-Down: This week started with date-night in West Palm Beach and ended with doughnuts in Jacksonville, and I can’t really think of anything more ideal. I’ve been really missing the Malibu view, so getting to the water was essential this week and it felt so right to feel the sand between my toes.

Fixer Upper: I think my house will always be a work in progress until I settle down for good. That being said, this week, I got super excited and bought a new mattress (memory foam for daaaa win) and a new mustard yellow quilt. I’ve never had any colors in my room besides white, so this is huge.

Now to find a cute little chair and mini-desk so I can be a real professional at home and stop writing from bed!
