What I’m Here For

Sweetbitter: It only seems fitting on Sweet Sunday that I announce I finished Sweetbitter. This completes my 3 Books by June goal. Although I didn’t read a classic, I read Oprah’s Wisdom of Sundays, Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows & Sweetbitter. I was 2/3  in my goal but 3/3 in reading it all. I have such a long list of books that I want to continue to read & can’t contain my excitement to start I’ll Be Gone in the Dark.

Fire Guy: Every time one of my friends mentions the Florida Fire Frogs, I sing in my head Ryan started the fire!! and I crack up. But not to mislead you. Anyway, the past four games I’ve tried to go to have been rained out. Thankfully, Saturday was full of change-ups and slides. It was perfect, especially going into one of the more stressful times in my life.

This week’s post has been short and sweet, but not much has happened. See you on Wednesday when I give you my baseball watchin’ hacks.
