Tall & handsome men, homeruns over the Green Monster, a mimosa that’s mostly champagne…and doughnuts. These are the things that make me the happiest version of myself.
I am all for Dunkies and get a Krispy Kreme donut more than I care to admit, but finding the perfect shop that specializes in these special cakes is much easier said than done. Until now.
As we drove down our favorite street in Winter Park, we found the answer to every self-proclaimed doughnut lover’s dream – The Glass Knife.
At first glance the building is stunning with pink walls and charming chandeliers. A table sits on the inside with, you guessed it, glass knives of all colors to brighten the black lacquer and add to the feel that you might be in your own kind of Wonderland.
The options are limitless as well – not only are there the most exquisite doughnuts that you could ever imagine, but there’s also pastries and cakes galore. And I am as excited as could be to go back and try them!
But back to doughnuts…
I bought the blackberry cobbler and fell in lust with the s’mores masterpiece. I truly don’t even think you can call it a doughnut, because it’s truly a work of art. And super affordable. SCORE!
So skip drinking around the world, waiting in a line at Universal or watching Shamu splash the front row because the real show, the true attraction are these pastries that we’re honestly not worthy of. But so grateful we have the opportunity to bless our stomachs with them!
Hannah was a guest of The Glass Knife. As always, all opinions are my own.
