What I’m Here For

Praying: This week tested my faith and emotional strength. Being a former Malibu resident, the shooting and fires have kept me on edge. To not get too into it, I’ve learned that all I can do is pray for love, pray for families & pray for change. Suddenly, my problems seem so very small.

They Have This?: I went grocery shopping with the guy I’ve been seeing and well…it was…an adventure! Suddenly I was conscious of the unhealthy food I buy, the 24-pack of Diet Coke I was loading up with my microwave meals & the off-brands I was buying. The struggle was real, I forgot to pick up toothpaste, but still had one of the best times one could have in a Wal-Mart.

Feels Like Home: I have finally unpacked everything and life is so uncluttered. I had been putting off the last box for a while but now that it’s all good, I feel so comfortable and at peace. I know, I probably should’ve done it a while ago but there was so much food to eat & work to do!
