Do you remember the movie Julie and Julia? It came out almost 10 years ago and was one of the sweetest (pun intended) flicks I’ve ever seen.
Here’s this young woman, feverishly following a cookbook by THE Julia Child herself, all to give her blog & self a year-long challenge. And here I am, frustrated with a soul-killing life and a plan to follow Julie and embark on my adventure in mastering every recipe in The Magnolia Table.
As we all are aware, I’m obsessed with the warmth and passion that Joanna Gaines exudes & she’s my biggest girl crush. I also have been really attempting to better my skills in the kitchen, and now that I’ve settled into my new job & new home, I can’t think of a better way to spend my free time.
I’ll be sharing each week’s attempts (and, or) successes during my Sweet Sunday roundups, and I’m really hoping to nail this whole Southern hospitality thing.
Let’s be honest, a gal can only eat so many microwave meals before she needs a home-cooked meal.
