On my Sweet Sundays (which it’s been a while since posting one of those) I like to highlight the Good List of the week.
2019 has been the most excruciating year of my life. It has been eleven months of trusting Jesus, making mistakes while learning to give myself grace, praying relentlessly, loving without fear & growth beyond the box I’ve felt contained to.
In honor of the Good List, here’s what I’m thankful for this year.
Coffee that tastes like M A G I C: I’ve spent so many days and moments in coffee shops this year. I’m grateful for matcha lattes and iced vanilla lattes.
Fun late nights: This year has encapsulated beauty in spending time with my family in College Station, wine nights in Dallas and spending almost every night with mein Schatzi.
A subtle compliment from the one you dress up for: Garrett and I have been through our ups and downs throughout 2019 but we’ve remained constant. He’s lifted me up throughout the year. He’s chosen to believe in me, even when it’s difficult. 2019 has been a year of growing together, failing and striving together. He is the only teammate I want to spend my life with and I am so thankful that I get to call him mine.
Belly laughs on the office floor: Work has been work. There are highs and lows with every job but the players have made it out of this world and my coworkers have been the people who strive for greatness with me.
I’m thankful for the chance to learn, cultivate and bloom throughout this year. For family, friends and everyone in between. Happy Thanksgiving, I promise I’m not thanks-full-of-it.
