I hosted my very first Christmas party this year and it was everything I wanted and more! The goal was The Office Classy Christmas meets the Michael Scott Christmas party where everyone is pounding back twelve bottles of vodka.

Y’all, it was amazing! My budget was incredibly low, like almost non-existent, and I couldn’t have been happier with how well it turned out…so, in true Hannah fashion, I’m including the details below.

Venue: The Capitol View Event Center! If you’re ever hosting an event in OKC, I can’t recommend this place enough – in fact, I want to have a spring event here so we can use their stunning rooftop.

Food: The Hall’s Pizza Kitchen Food Truck! Hall’s is my favorite restaurant in OKC and their food truck was the most flawless option for us. We were able to get three different pizzas, charcuterie & cheese boards, salad and the best cookies you could ever have!

Entertainment: If there’s anything I learned from the Christmas parties I attended last year, it was to keep it simple because most people are socializing. However, we had raffle ticket prizes (mah-jor thanks to Kendra Scott, Pizza Hut and the Dodgers Team Store), a karaoke machine, photo booth and Pin the Santa Hat on Michael.

What to Wear: As for dress, we decided “holiday” summed it up. Some wore ugly sweaters, I wore all black and some wore nicer dress. It basically allowed everyone to feel as comfortable as possible and no pressure at all.

It was the best first holiday party that I could imagine hosting. As we hanged the mistletoe and let the liquor flow, I was pleased to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting down in the name of Christmas!
