Hungry for Work (Snacks)


My job requires me to be at work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This typically means that I leave my house at 7:45 a.m. and get home after 6. If you’ve caught on, that means I spend two important meals and lots of snacks at my work space. 

As I try to ditch my runs to Sonic for tater tots and snacking on candy from the box in our office, I’ve come up with a list of some of my new and healthy snacks that I’m keeping at my desk. 

Snapea Crisps: I have been freakin’ obsessed with these since I lived in Malibu (so like four years). I prefer the black pepper ones but the lightly salter are also fantastic.

Good and Gather Fruit Strips: These are pretty similar to the Simply Balanced ones at Target and I always have one or two of the strawberry flavored ones at my desk. It really helps when I’m in my mid-day slump and need something sweet to treat myself too. 

The Laughing Cow Cheese: This is my absolute go-to. I pretty much only buy the garlic and herb cheese and can eat them straight or spread onto a cracker. 

Of course, I still make runs to Starbucks and Sonic, but I’m trying to have better mental health and clearer skin, and this has been my biggest jump. If you have any suggestions on your healthy or favorite office snacks, let me know! Until then, I’ll be crunching on some snapea crisps!
