As August sipped away like a bottle of wine, I closed off the month by attending the Everygirls Rise 2020 Virtual Conference with the Every Girl Media Group and LaMarca Prosecco! 

From hearing from incredible professionals from Macy’s, Instagram and more to reaching into those who have left the corporate world to start their own businesses like Rifle Paper Co., the conference was nothing short of inspiring…even from a virtual standpoint! 

With that being said, I wanted to share some pearls of sage advice that I received throughout the conference:

Now more than ever, we need passion and people to bounce ideas off of.

Work hard where you are. 

Treat yourself every day, even if it’s something small.

No one has it all so give your all to two or three things.

Own who you are, earn respect and always do your best. 

Channel “what would a white man that’s rich do.”

While every perspective is not mine, that doesn’t make it less valuable.
