There is nothing more in this world that I love than New York City. There’s something about it that makes me feel so whole. I don’t know if it’s the chic clothes, the delicious coffee, or the fact that The Devil Wears Prada is filmed there; the big apple is the juiciest one out there, and I want it for every meal.
I think of Bergdorfs and Brunch and my heart is full, while my cup overflows. I fell in love; his name is most certainly New York.
I had the best brunch with Kev at the Four Seasons. Lemon ricotta pancakes are the pure reason for my existence and this man loves Bergdorfs as much as I do. Basically, it’s double the trouble when you put us on 5th Avenue together.
However, we barely made it through the weekend without purchasing any Louboutins or suits.
What we did do was go see Wicked on Broadway. This is my favorite musical and one that I jam out to in the shower quite frequently – safe to say, everyone loved it and were completely awestruck by the performance. They literally broke their legs and everyone’s in the audience. It was phenomenal.
Like any spontaneous trip, there were some kinks in it, but all in all, New York treated us well and I can’t wait to be back again! But for now, I’m catching a flight to Texas to surprise my family just in time to say how thankful I am for them. Stay safe and warm everyone, we’ll chat soon!
