There are few things I love more than cheese. There are few things I hate more than having a dairy allergy. But Enzo’s Hideaway, with their sparkling bubbles and delicately sliced meats, make it really easy to push through the allergic reactions and having to wear a little extra cover-up the next day.
On a whim, Heidi suggested we go to Enzo’s for dinner when she got off of work.
We sat at a large butcher table next to a meat locker that was also packed with cheese, and for a brief moment of time, it felt like I was back in Italy.
I can’t speak any more highly of the charcuterie board that was presented to us. Between the prosciutto and salamis followed by roasted tomato and basil bread, I can still taste the olive oil on my tongue.
It was one of those beautiful places, where friends could meet & talk about their work drama or you could take your lover to and share memories and a bottle of wine.
I’ve heard at night that the hideaway transforms into a bar, connecting to other restaurants through an underground tunnel. Although I haven’t been, I’m so there for that!
So, parents and loves alike, if you’re at Disney Springs and need to ditch your little ones for a romantic break that doesn’t scream Mickey Mouse, put on some lip gloss and hold your hands as you walk down the stairs to a hidden, Italian oasis.
