“Enjoy the face you have today. It’s the one you’ll wish you have ten years from now.”
This is El Matador. This is also me, smiling ear-to-ear. The sun is out and the waves are rolling in, and this is the crazy part…I graduate college in less than a month. I’d say for someone to hand Jan a Kleenex, but she’s probably super excited to no longer be financially responsible for me any longer.
I signed a W9 Form to be a sports journalist this past week, went on my first assignment, and realized I am the Carrie Bradshaw of ESPN. I’m the one with the designer bag and Anthropologie top, tackling athletes to get a quote. It’s ambitious, fabulous, and as Pepperdine would expect, I am making major waves. (at least in my own mind I am).
The last time I was preparing for a major life change, i.e. going to college, I had never been to this beach and I was at the lowest point in my life. In just a few short years, I am so comfortable with myself, excited about where my life is going, and elated to know I’ll always have a home in Malibu. How many people can say that?
Congratulations Hannah! I cannot wait to read about your newest life adventures post-college! 🙂
