The perfect pre-game routine that I have come up with over the years is to brunch and make sure there are bottomless mimosas.
I am so excited for the boys to be back in town on Wednesday. Baseball season is my absolute favorite season and I can’t wait to slide into home alongside the best of them.
It’s not winter, it’s not spring – that’s right…I treat baseball season as its own special time of year, where I revolve around the love of the game and speak of nothing else. You have been warned.
I already have so many exciting posts in the works, from my cheat sheet to game-day attire and how I became so obsessed with the game.
But for now, my favorite F-words…the Four Seasons and French toast!
I live for the lemon ricotta pancakes at the 4 Szns and have been near and far to grab them. Maybe, just maybe, I found the game-changer that could change the way I view the pancakes and that was lemon ricotta French toast.
It’s like a lemon pound cake with the freshest berries and a limoncello whipped crème. I cannot. I could not put my fork down! That is, except to wash it down with a mimosa. With a belly full of lemon and a buzz to help me survive my long list of groceries, I could not ask for a better start to the week.
And yes, if history teaches us nothing, I will be back!
